Black womanhood is such a unique experience, and though we are not a monolith, I still feel like I have not reached what black womanhood is “supposed” to be. To help discover what that looks like for me, I decided to delve into the written works of Black women authors and other sources for guidance. I have decided that the problem is that we are in a love deficit. This space explores this revelation, along with others, and celebrates the complexities and triumphs of being a Black woman in my twenties.
